Sodium Selenite

Sodium selenite (Na2SeO3) is a white crystalline compound containing selenium. Highly soluble in water, it finds limited use as a selenium supplement due to its toxicity.
Sodium Selenite is the inorganic compound with the formula Na2SeO3. This salt is a colourless solid.
The pent-hydrate Na2SeO3 (H2O)5 is the most common water-soluble selenium compound.
It is used in some animal feeds to ensure they get enough selenium.
