Sodium Selenate

Sodium selenate (Na2SeO4) is a white, water-soluble compound containing selenium, an essential mineral for human health. Safer than sodium selenite, it's used in some supplements and to enrich crops with selenium to prevent deficiencies.
Sodium Selenate is the inorganic compound with the formula Na2SeO4, not to be confused with sodium selenite.
This highly soluble blue-coloured salt is a common source of the Ni2+ ion for electroplating.
Nickel Sulphate occurs as the rare mineral retgersite, which is a hexahydrate.
